Many of the advanced features in Raftr are only available to users with administrative permissions in their community. Here is a comprehensive list of the tools available to users with specific permissions to help them manage their communities. To learn more about these features, click on the linked text in the descriptions.


Tools for Premium Raft Leaders and Co-leaders


The following features are only available to users who are the Leader or Co-leader of at least one Premium Raft. This means that any member of a Premium Raft can be granted access to use these tools by an existing Raft Admin.


Schedule Posts


Choose a specific time for a Post, Event, or Poll to be published on a Premium Raft. There is a standard limit of two scheduled Posts per admin per Premium Raft per day. 


Duplicate Posts


Copy existing content from a Post, Event, Poll, or Announcement and reuse it as a template on a Premium Raft. Nearly all content will be copied over and the author will have the ability to edit it (with a notable exception being Event times and repeat cadences). 


Create List Posts


Create Checklists, Directories, Guides, Maps, and Virtual Tours on Premium Rafts. 


Create Announcements


Create an Announcement to pin to your Community Page or send via push notification or email to your members. There is a standard limit of two Announcements per Raft per day.


Send SMS Notifications**


Send a custom text message to your members who have a mobile phone member listed in their profile on Raftr. (NOTE: This is a premium add-on that is not available in all communities.)


Manage Content Permissions


Elect which members can see and create which content types on Premium Rafts;` for example, disabling or enabling Chat, cross-posting, or creating an Event. 


Review Flagged Content


Receive alerts to review and manage Posts in Rafts and messages in Channels that have been flagged for inappropriate content. 


Export "Seen By" Lists for Messages


Download a list of which members have viewed (or haven't viewed) a message in a Channel as a .CSV or Excel file.


Export Poll Responses and Results


Download the list of members' responses to a Poll as a .CSV or Excel file.


 


Tools for Community Admins or Department Admins


The following features are only available to Community Admins and/or Department Admins. This means that these privileges are generally added or removed by your dedicated Success Manager unless otherwise noted. 


Access Launchpad


View and use a content creation dashboard for your community. 


Access Admin Portal


View administrative dashboards and community management tools in a single portal, including content tools, member management, community settings, and metric reports.


Edit Community Page


Customize the layout, visibility, and look and feel of your Community Page. (NOTE: Although permission to edit the Community Page must be enabled by your Success Manager, some Community Admins can further control and customize the actual list of editors.)


Edit Community Subpages**


Customize the sections, layout, and look and feel of a specific Department Page. (NOTE: Additional Department Pages are premium add-ons that are not available in all communities. Although permission to edit the Community Page must be enabled by your Success Manager, some Community Admins can control and customize the editors list of any specific Department page.)


Send a Broadcast Post


Create and send an identical Post or Event to multiple Rafts at once.


Create and Manage Extensions**


Create and manage the standard integrations available on your Community Page. (NOTE: This is a premium add-on that is not available in all communities.)


Upgrade Rafts**


Select and upgrade Basic Rafts to have Premium features. (NOTE: Some Community Admins can enable the option for all members to be able to upgrade Rafts.)


Choose News and Events Sources for Feeds**


Select the outside sources of news and events you want to consolidate into a single feed through auto-generated content (AGC). (NOTE: Limitations apply to the number and type of source you can add. All new sources must be requested through your Success Manager.)
