Initial Onboarding


Once you sign a contract with Raftr, your Success Manager will be responsible for your implementation process, including your initial onboarding to the platform.


For Administrative Users


Regardless of what customer support package you have, all new partners receive up to 5 hours of custom live training sessions during their initial implementation. These training sessions cover set topics relevant to specific administrative users but can be customized with your needs in mind. 


For Support Staff


Many of our current partners have identified other staff and student leaders to support their launch of Raftr, whether as active promoters or content creators in their community. We recommend this as a best practice and welcome you to invite your support staff to any training sessions that are relevant to them based on their level of permissions.


For General Members


When your new community members create or activate their account, Raftr’s interactive onboarding flow introduces them to the platform and helps them get started right away. Any user can also easily access our support request form in-app or in our Support Center for a little extra help as they navigate Raftr for the first time.


Ongoing Training 


We believe that customer learning is an ongoing process, so your training experience does not end with your initial onboarding to Raftr. 


For Administrative Users


Current partners have access to ongoing training and on-demand resources to deepen their knowledge of our platform, with many being geared toward Community Admins.  Examples include live training sessions, an online training community, and our Support Center, which includes a searchable knowledge base.


For Support Staff


Given the critical role they play in supporting the success of your Raftr community, you may choose to share training resources or opportunities with your support staff. In fact, we encourage it - other staff and student leader buy-in is essential to a successful Raftr implementation.


For General Members


Raftr uses in-app tooltips introduce new features, and we email updates (including how-to videos) for major product enhancements. While we show your community members how to use Raftr, you get to define why they should use Raftr specific to your strategic goals.
