Reports: Members and Sessions

The Members and Sessions Dashboard is accessible by Community Admins and other designated administrative users on the web only. View your reports over a specific time period by selecting the date dropdown menu on the top right of the dashboard. The default time frame is the previous 7 days. To change it, select a start date and end date from the calendar and select Apply.

Accessing the Members and Sessions Report


To access the Raftr Insights Report, go to the Admin Portal and select the Reports dashboard. The default report view is the Members and Sessions report, but you can click on Raftr Insights to see this report. The default view will be your community overview, or #1 using the left sidebar navigation. From there you can navigate to additional community metrics by clicking #2.


 


Customizing the Members and Session Report


Date Filter


View your reports over a specific time period by selecting the date dropdown menu on the top right of the dashboard. The default time frame is the previous week. To change it, select a start date and end date from the calendar and select Apply.


 


Available Metrics on this Report


Below is a description of the metrics within the Members and Sessions Report. You can navigate between these metrics by clicking menu items on the left side of the page, and maximize or minimize the menu by clicking < or > at the bottom of the menu.

 


1 - Overview


High-level highlights for your community, including percent change between the selected time period and the previous one (default is one week)


  • Member Session Duration – Shows the total daily session duration (how long users spend on the platform) for your community, as well as the total number of weekly session, total number of users who were active, the average number of sessions per user, and the total number of activated accounts. (Note that “activated accounts” is a historic number that can’t be filtered by date and does not include deleted users.)
  • Avg. Session Duration Over the Week – Shows the days of the week when your community was most active, as well as the average length of each user session.
  • Last Online – This chart displays the email addresses and dates of members who were most recently online, ordered by recency.

 


2- Members


Metrics related to your active users and how much time they are spending on the platform, including percent change between the current and previous time period:


  • Active Members – Shows the total number of users during the selected time period, as well as a bar chart comparing the current period and the previous one. Hover over the charts for specific numbers
  • By Platform – Shows a pie chart breakdown of which platform your members are accessing your community (including the Admin Portal)
  • Session Duration By Hour – Shows the total number of user sessions (how long users spend on the platform) and an hourly breakdown of when members spent the longest amount of time on the platform 
  • Avg. Daily Active – Shows the average number of unique members who were active on the platform each day over the specific time period. An increasing line means that the number of members logging in daily is going up
  • Avg. Weekly Active – Shows the average number of members who were active at least once during the previous week. An increasing line means that the number of members logging in once a week or more is going up
  • Avg. Monthly Active – Shows the average number of members who were active at least once during the previous month. An increasing line means that the number of members logging in once a month or more is going up


Downloading Metrics


You can download some or all pages of the Insights report by right-clicking the header of the individual report and selecting Download as PDF.

Some individual charts also include an option to download the metric as a CSV file or Google Sheet. To find this option, roll over the right side of the metric box - if it offers an export option, a three-dot (more) menu will appear. Select the format of your choice and select Export
