The Last Login Report is one of several reports available on the Reports dashboard of the Admin Portal. It is accessible by Community Admins and other designated administrative users on the web only. The Reports dashboard gives you easy access to metrics that demonstrate your users’ engagement on the app. It also provides you with powerful insights to drive your content and communication strategies for Raftr.
The Last Login Report is particularly useful for tracking your Raftr activation rate, or the percentage of total registered users that have activated their accounts. (NOTE: This metric is less relevant if you use registration codes or self-registration for onboarding new members. Learn more about onboarding methods here.)
It is also helpful for seeing when a user last logged into Raftr, or what users have not yet activated the account you created for them.
Accessing the Last Login Report
To access the Last Login Report, go to the Admin Portal and select the Reports dashboard. Once there, click Last Login in the Reports menu on the left-hand side of your screen. If you do not see this report and believe you should, reach out to your Success Manager or contact us.
Community Admins have full access to view, download, and share analytics with campus partners. Department Admins and Community Collaborators have view-only access to all Reports. Safety Feature Admins do not have access to the Reports dashboard. Learn more about permission levels here.
Filtering Metrics in the Last Login Report
You can view metrics for a specific period of time by filtering the Date Range in the top right corner of the screen. The default view for metrics in the Last Login Report is “All Time.”
Users included in both the Last Login and Inactive Users Lists can also be sorted in ascending or descending order by ID, Name, Email, or Last Login.
Downloading Metrics from the Last Login Report
Community Admins can download a full list of users who have activated their accounts and logged into Raftr, or a list of users who have not yet activated their Raftr account. Simply hover over Last Login List or Inactive Accounts, then select the Download (⬇) icon. You can also download the number of total registered and activated users. You can download these metrics to a .csv, .xlsx, or .json file.
We strongly recommend that you download all metrics before you bulk remove content or members from your Raftr community so you have this data for your records. Content and members removed from your community are not included in any Raftr Reports, including the Last Login Report.
Interpreting Metrics in the Last Login Report
The Last Login Report includes two lists of Raftr users:
- Users who have activated their accounts and when they last logged in to Raftr
- Users who have not yet activated the Raftr account you created for them
The combined total number of users from both lists should correspond to the total number of registered users. The total number of users on your Last Login List should equal the total number of activated users.
Understanding the meaning of metrics included in the Last Login Report will help you to draw valuable insights from them. For tips on how to interpret metrics in the Last Login Report hover over a specific metric, then click on the Information (i) icon.
PRO TIP: Your Raftr activation rate is one of the key metrics we use to evaluate the initial performance, or adoption, of Raftr in your community.
Other information included in the Last Login and Inactive Accounts Lists is as follows:
- ID — Raftr-assigned ID number used for internal purposes and troubleshooting
- Name — First and last name of member
- Email — Email address of member
- Last Login — Last date/time member logged into their Raftr account (NOTE: If a last login date does not exist, this means that the member has not activated their Raftr account.)
