The four main sections on Raftr can be accessed from the primary navigation, found in the footer bar on the mobile apps and in the left sidebar for the web platform.
The Home page is where each member of the community can view their personalized content feeds, based on the Rafts and Channels they have joined. Use the Don't Miss It section to keep track of Events, Polls, and task deadlines happening that week.
There are also four personalized feeds:
- All 一 The latest Post, Event, or message from each of your Rafts and Channels
- Chat 一 All of your latest messages from your Channels and Raft Chat
- Posts 一 A personalized feed of Posts from people on your Rafts
- Events 一 A personalized feed of all of the Events happening from your Rafts
The Campus page is the "landing page" for your entire community. Community Admins and Department Admins can curate and customize this page (or a number of different Department pages within the Campus page) to highlight important Events and updates, as well as community members, campus maps, and dynamic, trending content. You can also have the navigation button and page title branded to the name of your institution.
The Events feed is one of two community-wide feeds to view everything happening at your institution at once. Selecting Events will take you to view all of the public Events throughout your entire community (it also shows private Events for the Rafts and Channels you are a member of).
The second community-wide content section is the News feed, which displays all of the automatically created Events and Posts that your community pulls in through your auto-generated content (AGC) sources. For more information about adding AGC sources to your existing community, contact your Success Manager for support.
In addition to the primary navigation, there is also the header at the top of the screen. On the left, you will find your community logo as well as the community switcher section to navigate to a different Raftr community (if you are a member of multiple Raftr communities). On the right side is where you can access your notifications, personal messaging (direct messages and group chats), and your profile.
The header is also where you can find the search bar, where you can search for all the Posts, Events, people, Rafts, groups, and messages in your community.
On the web version of Raftr, you will see a list of all of your joined Rafts and Channels on the left sidebar. When viewing a Raft or Channel, you can toggle through the different section tabs to find the content you are looking for, whether that's Chat, Posts, Events, etc.
